the games. In the NHL, sometimes the top seed sweeps a team, but every once in a while the top team gets swept and upset. Then there are series that are very exciting with close games. You simply don't know until you play the game.
My ideal playoff is every conference champion qualifies and three at-large teams from the SEC, Big Ten, ACC, and Big 12, with any Independent qualifying with at least ten wins. You then seed them with the top eight teams receiving a bye.
And the bottom line is these games make money, so they're not being eliminated...period. So get use to actually more playoff games in the future and not fewer.
