Here's my playoff with explanations.

Not sure if the playoff committee will operate this way. After picking the 12 teams, and then the top 4 conference champs, I would then select the four teams to host first round games. Once those four teams are picked, I would then pick the matchups that don't include teams that have already played each other this season.
Top 4 seeds.
1. Oregon
2. Georgia
3. Boise State
4. Arizona State
Four First Round Hosts.
5. Notre Dame
6. Ohio State
7. Penn State
8. Texas
3 of 4 have capactiy of 100,000 plus.
First Round Matchups
No. 5 Notre Dame vs. No. 12 Alabama
two teams have only faced each other two other times.
No. 6 Ohio State vs. No. 11 Tennessee
No. 7 Penn State vs. No. 10 Indiana
All-Big Ten matchup but teams didn't meet in 2024
No. 8 Texas vs. No. 9 Clemson
These matchups would prevent a single matchup of two teams from the same conference in the quarterfinals.
