it's the strongest conference. They will craft a story to get Bama in just like they always come up with a narrative to get the result they want. I bet they would love to have a No. 5 Notre Dame vs. No. 12 Alabama matchup. A Notre Dame-Clemson or Notre Dame-SMU just doesn't have the same cache.
