would be, They did in fact lose to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.

Auburn is the only power four team that Oklahoma beat this year, and Alabama lost to them by three touchdowns.

It is actually a very interesting conversation. SMU doesn't have the bad losses, but basically nothing in terms of quality wins. Alabama has two wins over team teams that finished in regular season college football playoff top 15 rankings, including the SEC champion
