inheriting a conference winning team from Cristobal (2 of he 3 previous years), and that was in the PAC 12. Now they are in the B1G and while they do have a very good chance of winning the Big 10 this year, they could very well drop that championship game as well.
But you are correct, my words were phrased incorrectly. I should have said Lanning HASN'T gotten it done, rather than can't, and for that mea culpa. I think hes a fine coach, but again he inherited a tremendous amount of talent. Lets see how he fares with his own guys fully in the fold.
