any truly great coaches in FBS that would be better here anyway?

None really come to mind. I mean Dan Lanning can't ever get it done at Oregon. Who else is there? Sure as hell not Ryan Day, not many folks at tOSU care for him. Several more that are in the Top 10 current coaches, all of them have their faults including Kirby.

We are stuck with the Drink and even if we weren't I don't think anyone else would probably do all that much better of a job.
