I have to this rodeo many times and I was just giving you my read. Polls are less and less reliable today and depend mostly on landlines so it misses a huge percentage of the population. Races - especially tight ones - are often decided by a ground game. While Trump has no ground game beyond efforts that Musk think he can just pay for while Harris and the Dems have a solid and proven ground game. Harris has bunch of support from many who worked for Trump and many members of the GOP. Trump has his base. Media attracts more eyes when the promote a horserace too.
