Eight conference games
A “challenge“ series with the ACC so everybody has one guaranteed ACC Noncon each year.
Two games against mountain west or MAC caliber teams

And although it wasn’t my idea, I support the idea of everybody in the country, playing an FCS team the first week of the season that is an exhibition and does not count towards your record, followed by an 11 game schedule, that counts leading to the playoff.

I would prefer not to kill FCS level football, so give those guys their games where they can make some money off of it. The big boys still make money because it’s still going to be on TV, they’re still going to sell tickets, they’re still going to sell concessions, they’re still going to sell parking. But we allow those guys to use it as an exhibition where they can play more kids to help get tuned up for the regular season and not have to worry about style points or any crap like that.
