Why do you keep saying "great year statistically"?

Why qualify his performance? Cook had a great year "STATISTICALLY" primarily because of the presence of Burden, who can turn a little dink pass into a long play.
Cook had a GOOD year last year - he hit his ceiling, which is "doesn't suck". As a 3 year starter, Cook has a ton of maturity and experience (his best attributes.)
The FACTS are: Cook has never been great at reads (he appeared improved during the 2nd half of last season - but has regressed); he has a weak arm (even on the short passes, his passes have air under them and he generally doesn't lead his receivers); Cook has been a good runner/scrambler in the past - he appears tentative this year (a lot of running sideways/backwards/stumbling.)
Cook IS NOT playing well - he was BAD 2 years ago, he was BAD early last season, and then stepped up.
2023 does not matter.
