The nonsense started back in Bush v Gore with the Florida BS. Democrats have whined every election they lost was cheated from that point on, and every R candidate is more and more extreme as they would like you to believe, yet the overton window continues sliding left. Trump or no, the next candidate will be somehow WORSE THAN TRUMP. It's so predictable, but sadly many (including many here) are so swept up in it like it's a team sport, not realizing they are only rooting against themselves.
The more and more they ramp up their rhetoric the more and more violent it gets. The reason the left LOVES Jan 6 is because it's the only date they have. It's easy to point when there is only one date they can pound over and over. Meanwhile you can point to a calendar with a blindfold on and likely land on a date a left riot or some insane assassination attempt from the left has occurred.
