And those guys - I have to admit - those players looked pretty miserable being forced to be there. So it was a campaign expense. Got it. I am just spit-balling it here but I am thinking that having brought in $500 million dollars in the last 4 weeks, that the campaign can afford it. It is also pretty solid stagecraft. And you KNOW that Trump noticed that, as he also noted the fantastic production quality of the entire convention. YES, they ran too long on the first three nights, but beyond that it was spectacular. Historian John Heilman commented that THIS convention may very likely be remembered in the small number of really significant party conventions. Heilman listed 1940, '52, '84 and '08 as comparisons. They did great.
