I know you said to not answer it through that lens, but the alternative option is totally not palatable to a normal person and isn’t eligible for the office per the constitution. If they were not running against an almost incomprehensibly bad candidate their policy stances would be more relevant. As it is, simply that they will try is good enough for me.
