I was never a Rams fan. To me the whole time it was like the Los Angeles Rams playing in St. Louis and not a St. Louis team. They never changed the colors, the uniforms, the name, kept their offices in LA. The whole thing seemed phony to me. But I was on an island. The Rams were strongly supported, to the point obsession. So you are wrong there It's a pro sports town, hockey, baseball and football while it lasted. There just isn't a college vibe in this area. You can go into a sports bar when Mizzou is playing and half the time they don't even have the game on.
