"Malfeasance" and "misfeasance" are legal terms related to improper conduct.

Malfeasance refers to the intentional performance of a wrongful act, often implying an abuse of power or authority.

Misfeasance, on the other hand, refers to the improper or negligent performance of a normally lawful act.

In simpler terms, malfeasance is doing something wrong intentionally, while misfeasance is doing something wrong unintentionally or carelessly.
