cars don't meet that criteria. Allegedly recent studies show that 1/2 of Americans drive 150 miles or more 4 days in a year. A vacation would be 2 of those days... driving there and driving back.

Quite a few EVs get 300 or more, a few others get 400 mi and at least one gets 500 mi range, but how often does one drive that far? With fast charging it is no big deal to go a few hundred miles, get out and stretch your legs, grab a bite to eat while it recharges and then get back on the road.
