Whereas Snopes said that the statement attributed to Trump was False, they did put in a disclaimer (see below). But it's typical Trump speak. Take things to the edge of respectability or idiocy and then make some qualifying statement. Looked at over the course of his political career, it all seems pretty duplicitous. I would contend his statement regarding ingesting disinfectant was just as idiotic as the alleged statement regardless of context and even though it didn't contain the words drinking or bleach.
