d disarming you is not an infringement of your right to possess the firearm. You just can't possess it while an imminent threat; that infringement is justified - but it's still an infringement.

It's important, imo, to recognize rights and what an infringement is - and that infringements can be justified or unjustified.

If you point a gun at me, gvmt can disarm you (infringing upon your 2nd amendment rights temporarily) but you don't lose your right to possess arms.

I don't think this is intellectually challenging stuff, but apparently you do?
