They aren’t going to try playing 15 players a game

Looking at Gates history it’s 10-11 players getting minutes. Occasionally due to injuries or blowouts more will play. Of the 10-11 that play in a game 8-9 will play every game. That leaves 2-3 spots each game that can be matchup dependent.

Gates system is built on player development. Not everyone with eligibility will return, but that’s not realistic. That hasn’t been realist for most of the last 30 years.
