your arena. It sells merchandise. It brings you more sponsorship dollars. It increases enrollment. It brings a lot of good things to your school. In today's world you have to pay for that. Spending a couple million on players to reap those benefits is not bad. Especially when it's boosters spending that money.
Ask Alabama how being good in football has boosted their university as a whole. It's a big deal. It's always generally cost money to do that. It's just out in the open today and taking more of it.
