A case for some other shenanigans

2020-played three games which would qualify him for a red shirt, but that was the free Covid year so it didn’t count anyway and he preserved his red shirt

2021 – played five games, including the bowl game, but the red shirt rule was for four games, including the bowl game and not plus the bowl game

2022 – the NCAA made a one time exception that a red shirt could be preserved by playing four regular season games plus a bowl game, but this does not apply to Brady Cook because he played the full season anyway

2023 – he played the whole season


2024 - he is expected to play the full season and exhaust is eligibility. However, if he were to be injured while playing in less than five games, he should be able to redshirt and come back in 2025.
