The rest are just there for the spectacle of the fad
No way in the long term they are as profitable as a typical Truck Stop like Loves, etc. So the question is how long will it last? I think Wallys and Buckees moving to the edge of metro areas realize what is happening and are hoping the fad hangs on due to the population of major cities nearby.
We will see but I think the less rare they are, the less folks will stop in
