Something that came to mind while I was watching Laird and how he came across and conducted himself in the interview.
I used to tell my sales force there were 2 primary ways in which I evaluated them (in addition to of course, the bottom line of generating sales):
(1) Would I want this person calling on me?
(2) Would I be proud to have this person represent our organization?
Laird Veatch gets an A + on both counts with me.
