DRF was pretty great at what you mentioned. Hopefully Veatch is also pretty great at what you mentioned.
Frankly, the upper end of things may be a more difficult lift than what DRF was great at. If Veatch is good enough at the big time donors then we're fortunate. If he is also aware enough to understand that the programs also don't survive without the common fan and outsources that to the right deputy director we will be in outstanding shape. THere's room enough to do both in an athletic department, is there not?
