to mitigate damage to the best of their ability, but ultimately a golfer is not liable for property damage caused through the course of normal golfing activities.

Now, if you stand there and drive 100 golf balls at a house intentionally to cause damage, then yeah, now its not an accident and you had intent to cause damage.
