Laird comes across as a sincere, genuine, thoughtful, extremely impressive individual - and there is nothing remotely scripted in his manner. He thinks well on his feet (in watching the questions from the press afterwards). Love the fact that he was a 4-year football letterman and captain of the football team at K-State - you know he recognizes the value of the breadwinner - football - for any athletic program.

A clear upgrade for Mizzou.

I think Laird and Drink are going to be a dynamic one-two punch for Mizzou for years to come.

Great hire by Mizzou!
