I think being an OC was taking his focus away from being a CEO. Letting Kirby run the offense and focusing on the big picture seemed to help him big time last year. He's always been able to recruit. Now let's see how he does coming off being one of the best teams in the SEC and beating Ohio St., leading to huge expectations.

I like Gates. I think he has charisma and a long term plan. I think between recruiting and on the court last year, there were some growing pains. We'll see how the program responds.
