and records may show he never bet on NBA doesn’t mean he wasn’t also using another bookie (think mobster bookie) and got in too deep to get out of. So his only option was to throw games. This is where the really odd prop bets do matter.
I think that is what happened. He only makes $400k a year. That’s a lot to most, but to those guys it’s chump change. I think he got in way over his head with the wrong bookie and his way out was to throw some prop bets.
