The big 12 needs their American Athletic Conference

member to save them this year. The SEC catches a lot of crap every football season about how overrated they are and i never hear it about big 12 basketball. They get a ton of teams in every year and they get 1 seeds, 2 seeds, 3/4 seeds and year and and year out they rarely play to their seed and you never hear anything about them being overrated.
As much as anything the big 12 figured out how to manipulate non-conference scheduling many years ago to inflate their computer rankings. Why other conferences don't do the same thing is a mystery to me.
