It's strange but I think the KA bad teams

had better rounded teams. They may not have had the scorer that East is and Bates can be at times but they had better players at the #3-8 positions on the depth chart and better big men - at least marginally better. Rosburg (e.g.) was better than any of the bigs on the team today, at least in his final year. As I've said, when the game is on the line, teams double down on Bates and East and force the rest of the team to beat them which has rarely happened.
