It was at the Hilton Naples on Tamiami Trail North.
Mizzou sent out a flyer for people on their mailing list (I think I still get the Mizzou magazine so they had me on their list) and notified them of a get together to showcase a university program about the study of the American Constitution - and they brought 3 students and the faculty leader to discuss it. It ran from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. yesterday (and included lunch - with of course key lime pie for desert - you can't come down here and not have key lime pie).
So nothing concerning Mizzou people getting together on a regular basis - this get together was a "one off".
But I did do some checking around with people at the event about a local alumni chapter or a Mizzou group in SE Florida - and was told there used to be one but the person who headed it up decided to do something else - and it disbanded 3 years ago.
But I got the names of a couple of local alums who seemed very interested in starting something up again.
Now that I know you are in the Naples area part of the year and have an interest in a Mizzou group down here, I'll add you to the list to notify if we get something going this summer.
