I was working at UPS--midnight shift---and basketball season tickets were on sale on a Sat morning at the Hearnes Bldg starting at like 7am.
It was raining and they had tickets being sold outside at a small little place with two ladies doing it. I got my tickets went home and looked up Norm in the phonebook--yes he was listed--and called him at like 800am.
I said you want crowds and this is how you treat ticket buyers? He said thanks for calling and hung up. I went back to to the Hearnes Bldg and he was there. Had the ticket sellers like quadrupled--moved the lines inside the bldg and had donuts and coffee being handed out for free.
I went up to him and said I was the guy who called him and he shook my hand and said "thanks for calling. They want people to buy tickets and do this"
He was a great guy
