Not sure I understand the point you are trying to make. If a business (McD's or whatever) don't buy raw materials then they have nothing to sell. If they have nothing to sell, they just end and don't exist anymore.
Is that your goal? Demand would certainly drop (to zero) and there would be no prices to worry about. But now all their employees are out of work. And with no one to buy from their suppliers, those businesses go under and those employees lose their jobs as well.
I don't think this is a very well thought out economic strategy.
