I don't think the border would be as big of a disaster as it is if trump had won, but I wonder how much of the societal collapse/crisis of competency/breakdown of complex systems we are seeing is beyond even biden and is really just the fruition of groundwork (dei, outsourcing everything, constant war) laid by past presidents like obama and bush before him.

At this point I wonder if trump winning in 2024 would do anything other than delay the inevitable at this point.
