Those are the conditions of my employment.

If I were falsely accused of some crime and the accusations were sufficient that a prosecutor charged me of said crime, then by the terms of employment I should be suspended. If convicted, I should be terminated. That is the policy.

All of that happens regardless of whether I actually committed the crime or not.
