College football is only surpassed by the NFL. As an AD friend of mine pointed out a MAC game gets better ratings than the vast majority of college basketball games. Most schools have figured out football stirs the drink. Even ku is stepping up and basically building a new football stadium and amenities.

I’ll feel more SEC-ish when MU produces a better overall AD.

Volleyball seems back on track but WBB is a trainwreck and softball is coming off a last place finish. MBB is going to be fighting off last place and baseball still is a 1000 miles from being SEC quality. I loved the 2023 football season but finding a level of winning consistency is what will keep momentum going. Looks good on paper but has to actually happen.
