At a time when tolerance and acceptance has never been higher, trans suicide rates are increasing.

We have seen Nashville, we now may have Iowa.

No one in pain wants others to celebrate their pain. Often pain masks itself in other forms - but the end is the same. Celebrating someone's pain, and encouraging them to celebrate it, is not healthy.

Transgender people are not to be despised. They are to be helped. And waiving a flag at them and telling them how awesome they are is more self-serving than helping.
