reg season schedule. Teams would lose too much home game revenue to do that.

I'm sure it has been said many times before, but the absurdity of a 4 team playoff when there are (on paper) 5 major conferences is mind blowing. Would have made sense to go to 6 teams; those 5 and next highest rated or the highest rated of the other conferences. Give 1 and 2 a bye, then play it out.
