exciting player EVER in Missouri basketball history. Bar none. Also one of the best. Top five. Just an absolute scoring machine in all ways. Creative with the ball. Tenacious on D (he used to "bark" at opposing players to throw them off). He was that way as a freshman majoring in journalism. Norm wasn't often a fan of sports media but regarding Derrick he said, "The journalism school finally got me something" when Derrick came to mid-Missouri from Queens, New York City. Those were awesome years to be a Mizzou b-ball fan.
