Gilbert. Either Dooling or Gilbert said that Norm left the assistants to talk to the parents and asked if he could walk their dog. They said the neighborhood was so unsafe that they would not feel comfortable walking alone out there. Said some thing to the effect that seeing Norm walk out there without a care in the world was one of the things that made the decision for them.
