I have never understood that reaction from soccer fans. After football, there are few sports that I will sit and watch. Most I don't find engaging. One that I will watch from time to time is volleyball. I played and coached it for decades and still enjoy watching it. It is definitely a niche sport that most people do not enjoy watching. If someone tells me they do not like the sport I have never felt the need to defend it.

If you tell a soccer fan that you do not like the sport he will spend the next thirty minutes trying to convince you of its greatness. If you don't come around they will finish by telling you that you just don't understand it.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
