often talked about how he advised the other coaches and the players to ignore it and focus on the task at hand. That seemed to be a focus of his, and a healthy one.
Somewhat tangentially, Chase talked about his methodology in studying film and in reviewing games. He intentionally focused on the good plays, when he did things right, and when things went right.
I think that too is a very healthy way to improve.
Putting too much time into reviewing errors, whether poor decisions or poor passes or whatever embeds those things into our minds and makes us more likely to repeat them, rather than less. Embedding the *good* things is more likely to help us make the right decisions the next time, whether that is consciously or unconsciously.
