How many ADs will consider maybe paying a coach less or finding a cheaper coach and then taking extra booster money that would have went to a coach and just have the boosters redirect that money to NIL?

I would argue that in basketball, it's probably a better idea to pay a coach like Gates $2.5 million and take $1-2 million of booster money and put it into NIL instead of paying a different coach $3.5-4.5 million. The players are the most important part of a college basketball coach's success so it'd make more sense to spend a lot of money on that versus putting it all on coaching.
