Agree, in the press he turned these programs down, but not sure there was even mutual interest. Bottom line you don't know what goes on behind closed doors in these negotiations. Also, even if Kleiman is not interested in money, he does have interest in his assistant coaches. They would see a big increase at Mizzou or other power conference schools (Big 10/SEC). That may be a tougher for him to walk away from. Bottom line, I get his relationship w/ Taylor is very tight, but it's only a $6M buyout for Kleiman (the contract through 2030 means nothing). If he competes for the Big X11 again this year, someone is going to come after him hard and likely gets him.
