the right hire or it can go downhill pretty quickly.

They've all had it happen before for short periods of time. Most of the high revenue schools are able to come out of it ok. OU has been on the precipice before Stoops was able to right the ship.

Basically as long as the money is coming in, they will be fine.

We will have to see about Nebraska. I don't think they will ever be what they were in the 90's but with that much money coming in, they will be back into the top 25 on a regular basis eventually in my opinion (unfortunately)
