I was at two of his worst games that year

One was a loss - the other a win

We lost to Florida in the swamp by a touchdown - and I think James threw 4 interceptions.

And then we beat Tennessee in 4 or 5 overtime’s in Neyland. He was awful for most of that day - but then on 4th and 16 (it was fourth and more than 10) at the end of the game with less than a minute or so to go, he scrambled and bought time and found true freshman Dorial Green Beckham in the corner of the end zone - Green had to tip toe the end line with both feet while reaching to pull in the pass - to send the game into overtime. Credit to Franklin - after a horrible day - to pull off that play at the end - and then play well in the overtime.
