As good as we were last year on defense, this squad has a chance to be better - I won't say elite - but better and one of our best in recent memory.

Add a solid kicking game (including having Luther return punts) - and (wait for it) all we need is for a QB with a gun for an arm and accuracy to make this a great season.

Defense wins games - if Kirby can coax just one additional touchdown per game out of the offense, 2023 could be fun.
