Softball portal update: outgoing...

Last week Kendal Cook announced she is going to play at Charleston Southern for her last year of eligibility. Of the 6 players from this years team with eligibility remaining who are going elsewhere, only Addie Lange has yet to find a new location as far as I know. The rest:

Riley Frizell: Louisville
Maddie Snider: South Florida
Megan Moll: Florida Atlantic
Megan Schumacher: Grand Canyon
Kendal Cook: Charleston Southern

Cook played 4 years here, and graduated, was one of those players you don’t see a lot of in the box scores but is an essential part of a team sport. Mainly used as a pinch runner her last few years. She had nothing but nice things to say about her coaches, teammates, and her overall experience here at Mizzou.

Best of luck to her in her final year of competition, hope she gets more playing time there. Good time to remember what an accomplishment it is to be on an SEC softball team, regardless of playing time, every one of these girls on the roster are exceptional athletes coming out of high school.

Particularly interested to see what Frizell and Snider do at Louisville and South Florida, respectively, to me they have the biggest upside on their new teams. Probably put Schumacher in that group too.
