is a one-party affair (Democratic/Liberal, not conservative) and they've let infrastructure, schools and public safety decline over the past decade or so. Roadway medians have become weedy messes as the city has designated them "pollinator habitats". Same for Stephens Lake Park, which used to be a shining jewel of the city. Crime is up. Roads are full of potholes. After moving from CoMo to Florida and returning for a visit a couple years later, we couldn't believe the negative changes in the city.
