The fact is that our defense was nowhere near good enough in the four conference title games under Pinkel. And pretty soon the divisions will go away, so we won't have that to hang our hats on. I just wonder what happened to us in those games. Did the coaches not adequately prepare the team? Were the players nervous? Did the coaches fail to make adjustments? Were the opponents that much better than us?
