have upset you, I'll try to clear it up for you. Market size refers to the size of the market, nothing more. It is the number of viewers available to watch a program. It has ZERO to do with number of people that will actually view a program. So no, the Nuggets are not a "small market" team. Based on the size of the Denver metro, plus outlying viewing markets, like Boulder, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs, they are a solidly mid market team. This area isn't as big as LA or New York, but it isn't Oklahoma City or San Antonio either.
Again, this has absolutely nothing to do with the number of people that watch, attend, root for, whatever, the Nuggets. This is just about market size.
San Antonio has great support. They draw really well, as the only show in town. They are still a small market team, because San Antonio is a much smaller city with a much smaller media footprint.
